HOW TO APPLY FOR RRB ALP

    • a subject of Nepal, or

    • a subject of Bhutan, or

    • a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

    • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

  1. Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit varies based on the category of the candidate. The age relaxations are provided as per government rules for reserved category candidates.

  2. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed the following educational qualifications:

    • For Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP): Candidates should have completed Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

    • For Technician: Candidates should have completed Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade or should have a diploma in engineering (as applicable).

Medical Fitness: Candidates must satisfy the medical fitness standards set by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
